I’m sure everyone has a camo print outfit from their past that they’d prefer never to talk about again. I started college in 2016, a time when Drake’s album Views was all anyone could listen to, and Kylie Jenner’s “King Kylie” era was at its peak. So, you could say that my freshman year included a lot of outfits featuring camo pants and jackets. While I’ve thought about ditching those once-beloved camo pieces, I just could never bear to let them go. Now, in 2023, a part of me is considering wearing them again.
This fashion week, one of the biggest beauty trends we saw was undoubtedly ribbons. So many different designers, from Christian Siriano to Collina Strada, had their models wearing ribbons laced through their hair. The fashion set quickly followed suit. The latest person to jump on the trend is Hailey Bieber, who shared a ballet-inspired beauty look and a sweet pink hair ribbon to match on TikTok.

Inzwischen habe ich mich in der Welt der Erwachsenen zurechtgefunden. Ich nutze die Seite zwar immer noch, um von wilden Nächten zu berichten (auch wenn das nur noch selten vorkommt) und meine Gedanken über meine letzte existenzielle Krise mitzuteilen, aber ich nutze sie auch, um meine ehrliche Meinung über Politik, Popkultur und den aktuellen Stand der Dinge kundzutun.“
Though I shopped at Revolve probably too much in high school (back before the company dropped the word “clothing” in its domain name), I almost never do in my adult life. As someone whose style errs more on the hushed, timeless side as opposed to the colorful, lively one, I never really thought there was anything for me there apart from the occasional in-stock sneaker or chic Helsa dress. But, with a new season approaching, I thought I’d use it as an excuse to give Revolve another chance. It’s the least I could do for the brand that supplied me with my junior-year prom dress (it was coral, but so was everyone’s in 2013).
