Here in New York, we are experiencing our first tastes of spring (hello, 60-degree days!), and that has me cleaning out my shoe closet in preparation for the season ahead. This luxurious body serum is to thank for it. The retinol and AHAs gently chip away my dead skin, while hydrating agents like squalane and lactic acid pump up the moisture. It feels delicate and expensive on my skin, like a face cream would, and the scent is clean and milky. The exfoliant works so well that sometimes I can see bits of dead skin rubbing off as I run the lotion through my limbs. My only quip? If you’ve read any of my other writing, you’d know that I’m a big K-beauty fan. There are some really great K-beauty products out there for irritation- and acne-prone skin, and one of my absolute favorite brands is Beauty of Joseon. I first fell in love with the brand when (like many others) I discovered its viral sunscreen on TikTok and it has become a staple in my routine ever since. The formula is so creamy, lightweight, hydrating, and most importantly, didn’t cause new breakouts for me.
