December through January is unofficially Zara season in my book. It’s the legendary end-of-season sale that initially ropes me in, and from then on through the end of January, I become completely fixated on every new drop. I did some major damage during the sale last month (see above for evidence), and now it’s the brand’s most recent collection that’s currently thinning out my pockets.

As far as celebrities go, you might be surprised to know that Olivia Wilde is one that we always look to for denim inspiration. She wears jeans a lot—even on the red carpet from time to time. Flared, straight-leg, baggy, skinny—you name it and she’s worn it. But for a day out and about in Los Angeles earlier this week, Wilde wore a style that’s new for her, and it’s one that always comes back around: sailor jeans.
Kate Hudson shone at the Critics’ Choice Awards, showing off her backless Oscar de la Renta dress on the red carpet. The curve-hugging look, styled by Sophie Lopez, included sheer, laser-cut floral details that mimicked the appearance of the “naked dress” trend, as well as shimmering fringe that added movement to the gown. At the bottom of the dress, the silver sequined material faded into a transparent tulle, adorned with gunmetal rose decals. With a delicate golden flower woven near the top of her halter neckline, the final look was just as romantic as it was glamorous.
Sarah Hyland went sleek for Sunday night’s Critics’ Choice Awards in Los Angeles. On Jan. 15, the former “Modern Family” star arrived on the red carpet matching with her new husband, Wells Adams, in all-black ensembles. The glossy Stella McCartney dress was made for Hyland, featuring one shoulder and a side cutout showcasing her abs. With help from stylist Brad Goreski, she completed her classic look with an assortment of gold jewelry from Misho, including a stack of cuff bracelets, drop earrings, and various rings. Adams, on the other hand, looked dapper in a simple suit sans tie.
