Every morning I start my day with a journey across the city. Living south of the river, but working north, my commute involves a not-insubstantial walk, as well as a stint on the Northern and Elizabeth lines. As such, by the time I’ve made it into the office, not only have I finished a podcast episode or two, but I’ve laid eyes on the outfits of hundreds of Londoners.
These 6 Netflix Treats Are Worth Watching In April
Tom Hardy may have been on his Venom game for a minute, but he’s now taking off the mask to front a new Netflix thriller. From the director behind The Raid and Gangs Of London, Havoc is high-stakes action with Hardy playing Walker, a down-on-his-luck detective dealing with the fallout of a drug bust gone wrong. Now, in a city brimming with violence, it’s up to Walker to put things right again, while dealing with a dishonest politician and a crime network out for blood. Plus, he’s tasked with rescuing the politician’s estranged son — no pressure. Co-starring screen legend Forrest Whittaker, Luis Guzmán, and Timothy Olyphant, this is one for the intense thriller obsessives.
I Tried the Oscars Naked-Dress Trend Like Doechii – Here Are My Honest Thoughts
If you were already toying with the idea of braving the naked dress trend, catching a glimpse of Doechii at the 2025 Billboard Women in Music Awards may just seal the deal for you. As someone who has thrown a birthday party for myself solely so that I could have a reason to wear a naked dress, I get it. When I scrolled past a reel of model Chloe Lecareux wearing Onarin’s Ms. Hearts bustier and fishtail skirt a few months ahead of my birthday month, the wheels started spinning. By the end of the week, I had at least five different restaurants in mind and a guest list of my closest friends at the ready. Maybe it was the Taurus in me, but I was hell-bent on pulling off this set — and it was only after I ordered the look that I really began to process just how sheer the silk-chiffon fabric actually was.
I Honestly Gasped When I Saw This Chic Bag In the Amazon Sale

(Image credit: AMAZON / JW PEI)
As a picky editor with expensive taste, it’s not often you’ll find me scrolling through an Amazon sale. Honestly, I try and avoid the online giant as much as possible, but that darn next-day delivery is just so handy isn’t it? I certainly wouldn’t usually think to search for my next fashion purchase on there. This week, however, I found myself drawn in by Amazon’s Spring Deal Days sale (running until the evening of Monday 31st March) with some pretty hefty discounts and I nearly spat out my morning cuppa when I came across a handbag that looked so chic it’d be right at home on the front row of Paris Fashion Week.
These Iconic Levi’s Jeans Are Under $100 – and Go With Everything in My Closet
Roomier denim styles have helped coax me out of my winter sweatsuit addiction, but I realized that living in barrel jeans also has its limitations. While oversize pants are a vibe, it turns out that teaming them with my other oversize closet favorites wasn’t particularly flattering. I needed a pair of jeans that would look great with anything, whether it was just sneakers and a T-shirt for school pick-up or heels and a bodysuit for date night. They needed to be comfortable — obviously — and timeless enough to transcend seasonal trends. I decided to finally try an iconic denim brand and style I had somehow overlooked all of my life, the Levi’s 501 Original Cropped Jeans ($98).
